'Sikandar' Advance Booking Day 1: Salman Khan-Starrer Off To Slow Start

Salman Khan, Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal-starrer 'Sikandar' is one of the most-awaited Bollywood movies of 2025, and fans cannot wait to see Bhai's latest Eid offering. The advance booking for the upcoming Hindi movie has begun. However, the movie is not showing great pace in terms of advance sales, and only limited tickets have been sold. As per industry tracker Sacnilk, 'Sikandar' has so far sold 67,960 tickets across India for the opening day, grossing Rs 1.95 crore.
However, if one adds block seats as well, then 'Sikandar' grosses Rs 6.24 crore for the opening day. If you are wondering what is the meaning of blocked seats is, then we have you covered.

PVR Inox LTD's CEO-Revenue & Operations, Gautam Dutta believes 'Sikandar' will perform really well and there is high anticipation from the Salman Khan-starrer.
"A Salman Khan release is always a grand celebration, and Sikandar promises to make it even more special with its perfect mix of action, emotion, and an inspiring story. With Salman returning to the big screen after a year, the excitement among fans is soaring, and the trailer has already captured everyone’s attention," The Indian Express quoted him as saying.
"Adding to the magic is Rashmika Mandanna, who continues her winning streak after Pushpa 2: The Rule and Chhava, making Sikandar another milestone in her journey. With early estimates pointing to a Rs 50 crore opening on Sunday and a strong box office run ahead, Sikandar is all set to bring audiences together for an unforgettable cinematic experience," he added.
The upcoming action entertainer has been directed by 'Ghajini' fame AR Murugadoss and it has been bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala.
The recently released trailer of the film shows Salman Khan in a larger-than-life avatar. 'Sikandar' revolves around Salman trying to eradicate a crime racket in Mumbai. Rashmika plays Salman's love interest.
'Sikandar' also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Anjini Dhawan, Sharman Joshi and Sathyaraj.
