'Stree 2' is not slowing down anytime soon at the box office.

Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer 'Stree 2' has set the box office on fire, and the new Hindi film is showing no signs of slowing down. In the latest entertainment news, 'Stree 2', directed by Amar Kaushik, which also stars Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana and Pankaj Tripathi, registered its biggest single-day haul yet on Sunday, the fourth day of its release. As per industry tracker Sacnilk, 'Stree 2' earned Rs 55 crore on Sunday, taking the four-day tally to Rs 190.55 crore, including paid previews on Wednesday.

As a result, 'Stree 2' has now outpaced both 'Gadar 2' and 'Fighter. For the unversed, Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel's 'Gadar 2' had earned Rs 134.88 crore during its opening weekend while Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor's 'Fighter' had made Rs 118 crore in its extended opening weekend.

'Stree 2' has now become 2024's third-highest grossing Hindi film after 'Kalki 2898 AD' and 'Fighter'.

The new Hindi film's performance becomes all the more remarkable, considering it clashed with 'Vedaa' and 'Khel Khel Mein'.

For the unversed, 'Stree 2' had earned more than Rs 50 crore on its opening day, and then it followed it up with a slight dip in its earnings on Friday.

However, 'Stree 2' bounced back with over a 40 per cent increase on Saturday, earning Rs 43.85 crore. For the uninitiated, 'Stree 2' also features cameos by Varun Dhawan, Akshay Kumar and Tamannaah Bhatia.

'Stree 2' will further be boosted by a partial holiday on Monday, owing to Raksha Bandhan. The Tuesday hold will give an idea about the new Hindi film's lifetime box office collection.

As per several reports, 'Stree 2' has already recovered its budget; hence, the film is set to emerge as a blockbuster.

Speaking of 'Khel Khel Mein' and 'Vedaa', both films continue to disappoint at the box office. Both Hindi films are yet to even cross the Rs 20 crore mark at the box office.

As per Sacnilk, 'Khel Khel Mein', which stars Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Pragya Jaiswal, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor, Aditya Seal and Vaani Kapoor, the new Hindi film earned Rs 3.75 crore on Sunday. The four-day total now stands at a below-par Rs 13.95 crore.

On the other hand, John Abraham's 'Vedaa', which also stars Sharvari Wagh, Abhishek Banerjee and Tamannaah Bhatia, the Nikkhil Advani directorial earned Rs 2.70 crore on Sunday, the fourth day of its release. The four-day tally of the film now stands at Rs 13.25 crore.
