‘Tiger 3’ BO collection Day 9: Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif spy thriller is struggling to pull in the big numbers.

Salman Khan, Emraan Hashmi and Katrina Kaif’s spy thriller ‘Tiger 3’ is struggling at the box office. The new Hindi movie, directed by Maneesh Sharma, registered its lowest single-day haul yet on the ninth day of its release. ‘Tiger 3’ collected just Rs 6.50 crore across all languages in India on its second Monday, as per early estimates posted by industry tracker Sacnilk. The action film has not been able to continue its stronghold at the box office despite its blockbuster opening on Diwali 2023.

Overall, the film’s domestic collection stands at Rs 236 crore. It looks like, the new Hindi movie will not be able to breach the Rs 300 crore mark as two new films are slated to release next week.

For the unversed, Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ and Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Sam Bahadur’ are slated to release in theatres on December 1.

Talking about the worldwide collections, ‘Tiger 3’ has made Rs 380 crore till now. On day 9, the Salman Khan-starrer registered 13 per cent occupancy in the Hindi language.

‘Tiger 3’ has reportedly been made on a budget of Rs 300 crore, and the box office collection indicates that the film will be classified as an under-performer, especially when there were high expectations.

‘Tiger 3’ has not been able to record the highest weekend, highest day one figure, or the highest week one figure. But it is Salman Khan’s 17th film to enter the Rs 100 crore club at the box office, and this is the highest for any actor in the history of Indian cinema.

‘Tiger 3’ opened to mixed reviews. Some of the critics described it as the weakest film in the YRF Spy Universe.

‘Tiger 3’ also features cameos by Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan. The latter appears in the post-credits scene, setting up the events in motion for ‘War 2’, in which he will be sharing the screen with Jr NTR.

For the unversed, the YRF Spy Universe consists of movies such as ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘War’, ‘Pathaan’, and now ‘Tiger 3’. YRF has two more movies expected to come out – ‘War 2’, and ‘Tiger vs Pathaan’.
