In the post-pandemic world, Kangana Ranaut has found it hard to make her presence felt at the domestic box office. The hopes were high from her latest movie 'Tejas', which released in theatres on October 27. However, the new Hindi movie has ended its opening weekend in theatres without being able to cross even the Rs 4 crore mark in India. On Sunday, 'Tejas' earned Rs 1.25 crore, as per industry tracker Sacnilk, and the total three-day collection now stands at Rs 3.80 crore.
‘Tejas’ is written and directed by Sarvesh Mewara. The movie also stars Anshul Chauhan, Varun Mitra, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Vishak Nair.
The aerial actioner is produced by Ronnie Screwala under his production house RSVP Movies. The film's background score is by Shashwat Sachdev. Aarif Sheikh and Hari K. Vedantam are the editors and cinematographers, respectively.

On the other hand, '12 Fail' starring Vikrant Massey, has surprised everyone, and the movie has collected Rs 6.42 crore in the opening weekend.
On Sunday, '12th Fail' directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, collected Rs 2.8 crore, as per industry tracker Sacnilk. On Saturday, it had collected Rs 2.51 crore, while it opened to Rs 1.11 crore on Friday.
Talking about '12th Fail', the movie tells the story of ambition, dedication and overcoming setbacks. The film is based on Anurag Pathak's best-selling novel about the incredible journey of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS officer Shraddha Joshi. The film also stars Medha Shankar opposite Vikrant Massey.
Talking about Tamil film 'Leo', the Vijay-starrer earned Rs 16.50 crore on its 11th day at the box office, taking the total nett collection in India to Rs 303 crore.
The Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial can now end up breaking the record of Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' as it had ended its run in India at Rs 348 crore nett.
