Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are two of the most loved Indian superstars. The duo, who live in the Bandra area of Mumbai, share a massive fan following, and hence, it is no surprise that the movies of these two stars take a gigantic start at the box office. Over the years, Shah Rukh Khan's house 'Mannat' has also become a tourist destination in Mumbai. But did you know that SRK's iconic house in Bandra was first offered to the 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' star Salman?

Yes, you read right! Salman Khan had once disclosed that he was indeed the first person to be offered Mannat, but his father Salim Khan, advised him against purchasing it.

In an old interview with Bollywood Hungama, the host asked Salman Khan about the one thing that SRK possessed, which he wished he had.

Answering this question, Salman said, "That bungalow of his (Mannat). But it had come to me first when I had just started off."

"My dad (Salim Khan) said itne bade ghar mein tum karoge kya? I want to ask Shah Rukh, itne bade ghar mein karta kya hai tu," he added.

For the unversed, every day, several fans gather outside the house of SRK in hopes of catching a glimpse of the iconic actor.

'Mannat' serves as the house of SRK, his wife Gauri Khan and children Suhana, Aryan and AbRam.

Gauri Khan has herself designed the six-story mansion, which is estimated to be worth around Rs 200 crore.

On the work front, SRK is currently gearing up for his next release 'King', which also stars his daughter Suhana Khan. The film directed by Sujoy Ghosh is slated to be released in theatres in the second half of 2025.

Speaking of Salman Khan, he will be next seen in 'Sikandar', alongside Rashmika Mandanna. The AR Murugadoss directorial, which is being backed by Sajid Nadiadwala, is slated to be released in cinemas on Eid 2025.
