Shah Rukh Khan had a memorable 2023 as his three movies -- 'Pathaan', 'Jawan' and 'Dunki' turned out to be hits at the box office. Siddharth Anand's 'Pathaan' and Atlee's 'Jawan' both achieved blockbuster status as both the films minted more than Rs 1,000 crore worldwide. Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki' might not have been able to replicate the same success, but it still managed to make more than Rs 200 crore in India. There is a different fanbase for Shah Rukh Khan's residence 'Mannat' in Bandra, Mumbai. Fans of the actor just visit Bandra to get clicked outside the residence of SRK.
Now, actor Vikram Kochhar, who shared the screen with SRK in 'Dunki', spoke about visiting Mannat and how he felt.
“I was starstruck to see Shah Rukh Khan. He called us to his house, to Mannat, when we were going to meet him for the first time. The house is amazing and we went into the lift; there were a lot of security checks. There’s a huge hall, big entrance, lobby, then after that it was just like an airport security kind of a thing, or the one you do when you enter inside a five star hotel. Everything gets scanned," 'Dunki' actor Vikram Kochhar told News18.
“You go up to his room, and he’s so humble and he’s so genuine.” He then mentioned that Shah Rukh Khan, despite just waking up slightly late, was very approachable and treated everyone as equals. He said, “I have not seen that," he added.
Talking about 'Dunki', the film marks the first collaboration between SRK and Rajkumar Hirani. Apart from SRK, the new Hindi film also stars Taapsee Pannu, Vikram Kochhar, Anil Grover, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani.
The movie has gone past the Rs 210 crore mark in India and globally, it is nearing the Rs 450 crore mark worldwide.
Talking about SRK, the actor has not announced his next project. However, as per several reports, he will be next seen in Sujoy Ghosh's next which stars Suhana Khan in the lead role.
