“Best Look So Far”: Fans Swoon Over Aditi Rao Hydari As She Stuns In Red Saree At Cannes
Aditi Rao Hydari left her fans swooning with her second look for the 78th edition of the Cannes Film Festival.
Aditi Rao Hydari’s latest appearance at the Cannes Film Festival has captivated online audiences, not just for her elegance but also for her deeply traditional styling. The actress, who tied the knot with fellow actor Siddharth in a traditional ceremony last year, made headlines by donning sindoor (vermillion) in the parting of her hair – a detail that stood out in her second look at the star-studded event. For this particular outing at Cannes, Aditi wore a striking red saree from designer label Raw Mango.
The saree was a bold red with a subtle blue border, paired with a sleeveless red blouse. Elevating the ensemble, she accessorised with statement jewellery, including a gold necklace and earrings. However, it was the red bindi and the vibrant sindoor that drew the most attention, becoming the central highlight of her look.

Social media users were quick to shower praise. Many applauded the choice of a modest, culturally rooted look.
Comments poured in, with one fan noting, “I love the fact that the prominent sindoor you’re wearing is just holding this entire look.”
Another declared, “The best and the most elegant in Cannes so far,” while one comment called the sindoor “a cherry on the top.”
Another user simply stated, “Absolutely stunning.”
This appearance marked Aditi Rao Hydari's second at Cannes this year. Her previous look featured her walking the red carpet in a dazzling ombré bodycon gown designed by Rahul Mishra. She complemented the celestial gown with jewellery from Chopard and opted for minimalistic makeup, letting the outfit take centre stage.
Aditi Rao Hydari’s marriage to Siddharth took place in September the previous year in a traditional South Indian ceremony at the Sri Ranganayakaswamy Temple in Telangana. The wedding was an intimate affair. Aditi wore a classic Sabyasachi lehenga, while Siddharth matched her style in a silk kurta and handwoven dhoti, also by Sabyasachi.
The couple’s romance remained largely under wraps until last year, when Aditi confirmed their engagement on social media. She shared a selfie featuring their engagement rings with the caption, “He said yes! E. N. G. A. G. E. D.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Aditi Rao Hydari last featured in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’.
