Sharmin Segal's ROFL Response To Trolls Mocking Her For 'Heeramandi'
Sharmin Segal had the perfect reply to trolls, criticising her for her performance in 'Heeramandi'.
It has been almost two months since Sanjay Leela Bhansali's web series 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar' released on Netflix. The series, starring Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Manisha Koirala, Sharmin Segal, Aditi Rao Hydari and Sanjeeda Shaikh, received mixed response, however, the series has already become one of the most-watched Hindi shows of all time. In the new Hindi web series, Sharmin Segal played the role of Alamzeb, the head-strong daughter to Manisha Koirala's Huzoor Mallikajaan. The audience were not impressed with Sharmin's portrayal, and she was heavily trolled for the same.
In the latest entertainment news, it seems like that Sharmin Segal is not bothered by all the trolling. She is currently vacationing in Italy. She has now taken to her Instagram handle to share a picturesque carousel of photos from her trip.
The highlight of the post however, is the hilarious caption. Inspired from her iconic lines from 'Heeramandi' -- "Ek baar dekh lijiye, deewana bana dijiye, jalne ko hain taiyyar hum, parwana bana dijiye", Sharmin's caption reads, "ek baar break lijiye, ice cream kha lijiye, swimming karne ko hai taiyyar hum, neela neela paani dikha dijiye".

This is not the first time that Sharmin Segal has laughed at herself. The actress had recently united with her co-stars Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha and Aditi Rao Hydari to feature in a promotional video for 'Heeramandi'.
It was then that Sharmin gave caricature-like expressions, also throwing herself into water at one point.
Sharmin had made her acting debut with ‘Malaal’ opposite Meezaan Jafri.
Previously, she worked as an assistant director on the films ‘Mary Kom’, starring Priyanka Chopra, and ‘Bajirao Mastani’, featuring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Priyanka.
