On Monday, Alia Bhatt made a stunning appearance at Met Gala 2024 and left everyone swooning over her desi avatar in a gorgeous Sabyasachi saree. Before her stunning appearance in the mint green floral Sabyasachi drape, Alia Bhatt stunned in another saree that she wore for a charity event she hosted -- the Hope Gala in London in collaboration with the Salaam Bombay Foundation.

In the stunning photos, Alia Bhatt struck some captivating poses as she showed off her ethnic avatar in the ivory saree from Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla’s fashion label.
As per the fashion label’s Instagram caption, the six yards of grace in a pristine ivory shade was tailored in 1994.
The elegant ivory saree featured resham work, embroidered with floral silk threads. The saree also featured intricate zari detailing. The subtle crystal embellishment, which ran over the 30-year-old drape, also deserves a special mention.
Alia Bhatt paired the traditional wonder with a halter-neck blouse, which featured swirled scalloped edges, adorned with shimmery flower elements. The blouse also came adorned with multi-tiered beads, cascading down Alia Bhatt's back. And the back of the blouse will definitely remind you of her debut Met Gala look in a pearl gown.
Alia Bhatt styled her saree with a pair of diamond and emerald-encrusted earrings. The Bollywood actress left her hair open in side-parted wavy and short tresses.
For her makeup, Alia Bhatt went with a soft glam look, featuring well-shaped eyebrows, subtle eyeshadow, mascara-coated lashes, rosy cheeks and glossy pink-tinted lips.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia Bhatt was last seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ apart from her Hollywood debut ‘Heart of Stone’.
The Karan Johar directorial also starred Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Tota Roy Chowdhury, and Churni Ganguly.
She will soon be seen in Vasan Bala’s ‘Jigra’, co-starring Vedang Raina who made his acting debut in 2023 with Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’.
Alia Bhatt will also feature in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’. The film will also star Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
