Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who was last seen alongside Vijay Deverakonda in the 2023 movie ‘Kushi’, is known for her infectious screen presence and stunning fashion choices. She once again turned heads in a strapless black beaded gown. Taking to Instagram, Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared stunning photos of herself in the beaded bodice gown.

For the unversed, the gown has been repurposed from the gorgeous white gown she wore for her and Naga Chaitanya’s wedding ceremony in 2017. Samantha and Naga Chaitanya announced their separation on social media in a joint statement in October 2021.
Designer Kresha Bajaj, who also designed Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s wedding gown, took to Instagram to share a reel of the making of the gown.
The designer showed how they hand-sewed floral and crystal detailing onto her white gown in 2016, doing the same for her years later for her newly repurposed gown, dying it all black and changing the silhouette.
Samantha’s black gown came with a strapless design, a corset-style beaded bodice, a sweetheart neckline, a figure-hugging upper body attached to a skirt-style tulle bottom, and a backless design.
The drape element around the midriff area was the main highlight of the gown. The floor-sweeping hemline of the gown was attached to a tulle detail adorned with 3D florals, forming a trail.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu styled her look with a black choker necklace and a few rings. She left her hair open in side-parted soft waves.
For her makeup, Samantha Ruth Prabhu went with well-shaped eyebrows, subtle eyeshadow, black eyeliner, kohl-lined eyes, mascara-coated lashes, blushed cheeks, contouring, subtle highlighter and nude pink lip shade.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu will soon be seen in an action-packed avatar in Raj and DK's ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’, co-starring Varun Dhawan.
The show is an Indian spin-off of the American series, ‘Citadel’, created by the Russo Brothers and starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden.
