Meanwhile, on the work front, Wamiqa Gabbi recently landed her first Hindi commercial project. She will be seen in director Atlee's upcoming Hindi production, alongside actors Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh. The untitled film, currently known as ‘VD18’, is set to release next year.
She will be next seen in Vishal Bharadwaj’s Netflix movie ‘Khufiya’ co-starring Tabu, Ali Fazal among other names. The film is expected to release later this year.
She has proved her acting mettle with some remarkable performances in ‘Grahan’, ‘Mai’, ‘Jubilee’, ‘Modern Love Chennai’ and ‘Modern Love Mumbai’. Wamiqa Gabbi made her screen debut with the 2007 film ‘Jab We Met’ in a small role.
