It all started on Monday as Amy Schumer sparked backlash when she shared a picture of Nicole Kidman watching the sporting event from the stands in a pink outfit. “This how human sit,” she had captioned the post, implying the 56-year-old actress looked robotic, as reported by Page Six.
In the image shared by Amy Schumer, Nicole Kidman was seen sporting a serious expression. Her hand was under her chin while her other arm cradled her elbow.
At the event, Nicole Kidman was spotted wearing a pink dress with a white jacket and matching loafers.
Before Schumer deleted her Instagram post, several users on the platform slammer her "mean" caption and accused her of "mean girl public trolling", reported Page Six.
Recently, Nicole Kidman had watched the US Open's women's final between Coco Gauff and Aryna Sabalenka.
After Coco Gauff won the final, Nicole Kidman congratulated her via Instagram Stories.
“Congratulations Coco! Thank you US Open! Great Women’s Final 2023," Nicole Kidman wrote.
Amy Schumer had also posted a picture from the sporting event, writing “Go @cocogauff."
At the event, Amy Schumer also wore pink for the match. She sported a collared shirt and black shorts, and she was spotted sitting in the stands with her husband, Chris Fischer.
