The weekend is here, so we are back to recommend what to watch across various OTT platforms. The summer heat has relented a bit, but the monsoons have arrived, hence venturing out of homes is not an option. So, everyone can do with several recommendations regarding what to watch, and we are here to help you narrow down your choices. In this article, we will be giving you the best options regarding what to watch on streaming platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, SonyLiv and Disney+ Hotstar.

Aavesham -- Hindi version (Disney+ Hotstar)

This Jithu Madhavan-directorial tells the story of three young students, Aju (Hipzster), Bibi (Mithun) and Shanthan (Roshan) and how this trio end up seeking the help of a gangster Ranga (Fahadh Faasil) after they end up facing issues due to college bully Kutty (Midhutty). The Malayalam film made Rs 85.16 crore in India. The Hindi version is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar while the original version is available on Prime Video.

Rautu Ka Raaz (ZEE5)

This crime thriller stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role. In the film, he plays the role of Inspector Deepak Negi, who has PTSD. The film tells the story of police officers trying to solve the complicated case of a mysterious murder of a school warden. 

Sharmajee Ki Beti (Prime Video)

This coming-of-age film centres around the lives of three women, all with the common surname Sharma. The movie stars Divya Dutta, Sakshi Tanwar, Saiyami Kher, Sharib Hashmi, and others. The new Hindi film has been directed by Ayushmann Khurrana's wife Tahira Kashyap. 

The Bear Season 3 (Disney+ Hotstar)

Fan-favourite series 'The Bear' is back with its third season. For the unversed, the series focuses on Carmy, who is marching ahead to transform his sandwich shop into a top-tier dining establishment. The recently-released third season will now focus on Carmy’s personal life, with Jeremy Allen White reprising his role.

The Family Affair (Netflix)

This romantic-comedy film directed by Richard LaGravenese, stars Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron, Joey King, Liza Koshy, and Kathy Bates. The film tells the story of Zara (Joey King), a young woman who works as the personal assistant to Hollywood star Chris Cole (Zac Efron). The plot then takes an absurd turn after she discovers that her boss is having a secret romantic relationship with her widowed mother (Nicole Kidman).
