Indian Beauties Sara Ali Khan, Esha Gupta, Manushi Chhillar And Urvashi Rautela Stun On Red Carpet At Cannes 2023
Cannes 2023 kicked off on Tuesday and Indian divas Sara Ali Khan, Esha Gupta, Manushi Chhillar and Urvashi Rautela graced the red carpet, looking absolutely stunning.
The Cannes Film Festival kick-started on May 16 and will conclude on May 27. One of the most prestigious film festivals, the red carpet at Cannes is always a star-studded affair. Every year, the Cannes Film Festival is attended by the A-listers of the film and the fashion fraternity. The red carpet looks of the celebrities at Cannes keeps giving major new fashion goals. This time, several Indian celebrities are attending Cannes International Film Festival 2023 and some of them have already spread their charm on the red carpet.
Indian beauties Sara Ali Khan, Esha Gupta, Manushi Chhillar and Urvashi Rautela graced the red carpet on the opening day of 2023 Cannes Film Festival. The 76th edition of the prestigious film festival kicked off with the premiere of the Louis XV period drama ‘Jeanne du Barry’, starring Johnny Depp.
Talking about Sara Ali Khan, she made her Cannes debut wearing a stunning by fashion designer Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Sara decked up in a pastel blouse with silver embellishment detailing and a plunging neckline. She further teamed it with a long and flowy skirt with ethnic detailing in shades of white throughout. Sara completed her look with a matching dupatta on her shoulders attached to her hair bun. She also opted for earrings and bracelet.
Esha Gupta turned up at the event, looking like a million bucks in a Nicolas Jebran white gown with a thigh-high slit. The gown was highlighted with a collar, cascading to a plunging neckline covered in see-through mesh detailing. The mesh also featured white floral embellishments. The actress wore her tresses into a bun for the occasion.
Manushi Chhillar looked stunning as ever in a white tulle gown for this year's Cannes Film Festival. Manushi played muse to fashion designer house Fovari. Manushi's white gown came with off-shoulder detailing, corset, a plunging neckline and a white tulle long train featuring frill details throughout. Manushi wore her tresses open in wavy curls with a middle part as she decked up in minimal makeup and let her white gown do all the talking.
Urvashi Rautela walked the red carpet at the Cannes for the second time. She donned an enormous pink tulle gown with tiered layers of floral ruffles. She completed her gown with a statement neckpiece featuring two intertwined alligators and matching earrings. The actress complimented the whole look with a high neat bun.
Besides Sara Ali Khan, Esha Gupta, Manushi Chhillar and Urvashi Rautela, Anushka Sharma is one of the major figures from Indian cinema who will be attending Cannes this year. She will be honouring women in cinema along with Hollywood star Kate Winslet.
Meanwhile, the ever-so-gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, a Cannes regular, left for the film festival on Tuesday.
Madhur Bhandarkar, Mrunal Thakur, Aditi Rao Hydari, Vijay Varma, Vignesh Shivan, Niharika NM, Ruhee Dosani, Ranveer Allahbadia and Dolly Singh are attending the event as well.
Talking about the films, Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Kennedy’, Kanu Behl’s ‘Agra’, Yudhajit Basu’s ‘Nehemich’ and Aribam Syam Sharma’s ‘Ishanou’ are part of the Indian showcase at Cannes.
While ‘Agra’ will have its world premiere in the Directors’ Fortnight section, ‘Kennedy’, ‘Nehemich’ and ‘Ishanou’ will be showcased in the Midnight Screenings, La Cinef and Cannes Classics section, respectively.
