'Captain America' Actor Chris Evans Marries Alba Bapista In Intimate Wedding: Report
'Captain America' actor Chris Evans has married Alba Baptista in a private ceremony, according to media reports.
Chris Evans is no longer available, ladies! The actor, famous for playing 'Captain America', has tied the knot to Alba Baptista, a Luso-Brazilian actress. As per Page Six, the marriage took place at the couple's home in Massachusetts. The wedding was a private affair and it was only attended by their closest family and friends. Some of the guests at the wedding included Chris Evans' Marvel co-stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, and Jeremy Renner.
As per Page Six, all the guests at the wedding had to sign NDAs and give up their phones to ensure the secrecy of the ceremony.
The same report stated that the wedding was "beautiful" and Evans and Baptista were in "love" and "happy".
For the unversed, Chris Evans is 42 years old and Baptista is 26 years old.
As per several reports, the couple had been dating for over a year before they tied the knot.
The couple was first seen together in public in November 2022, when they were spotted holding hands in Central Park.
Talking about Baptista, she is an actress and she speaks five languages -- Portuguese, English, German, French and Spanish.
She had earlier starred in the Netflix series 'Warrior Nun' and the film 'Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris'.
Last year, Chris Evans had expressed his desire to get married and have a family.
“That’s absolutely something I want — wife, kids, building a family. When you read about most of the best artists, whether it’s actors, painters, writers, most of them [admit] it wasn’t the work they made [that they are most proud of], it was about the relationships, the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared," Chris Evans had told People Magazine.
“So it’s also something through my long 41 years that also rings true. Those things are the most important. I love the idea of tradition and ceremony, I had a lot of that in my life so the idea of creating that, I can’t think of anything better,” he added.
