Watch: Diljit Dosanjh Performs ‘GOAT’, ‘Born To Shine’ On ‘The Tonight Show’, Teaches Punjabi To Jimmy Fallon
Diljit Dosanjh has finally made his debut on Jimmy Fallon’s ‘The Tonight Show’.
Actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh, who has become a global sensation owing to his grand music concerts and hit songs, has finally made his debut on Jimmy Fallon's 'The Tonight Show'. During his appearance, Diljit Dosanjh performed his iconic songs like 'Born To Shine' and 'GOAT', among others. Introducing Diljit Dosanjh, Jimmy Fallon said, “You can catch out next guest on his Dil-Luminati World Tour, making his US TV debut, performing 'Born To Shine' and 'GOAT', please welcome the biggest Punjabi artist on the planet, Diljit Dosanjh.”
Before making his debut on the show, Diljit Dosanjh was also seen teaching Punjabi to chat show host Jimmy Fallon.

Earlier, the official handle of ‘The Tonight Show’ posted a video, in which Diljit was seen exchanging gloves with Jimmy Fallon. The video was recorded backstage of the show’s studio in the US.
In the video, the Punjabi singer can be seen wearing a traditional attire with a matching turban.
Diljit also carried a black glove with him, which he ended up exchanging with Jimmy Fallon's custom-made glove with the show's logo.
Sharing the video, the handle on Instagram wrote, “Backstage glove swap with @diljitdosanjh! #DiljitOnFallon #FallonTonight.”

On Monday evening, Diljit had also shared a glimpse of the studio of 'The Tonight Show'.
Sharing a series of pictures on Instagram, Diljit wrote, "The Tonight Show @fallontonight @jimmyfallon @nbc Sound Check Done."

Diljit also shared another video, in which he can be seen arriving on the sets. On Instagram, he wrote, "PANJABI AA GAYE OYE @fallontonight @jimmyfallon @nbc Goreya De Gharan Ch Aj PANJABI Suni Jani An."

Earlier this year, Diljit Dosanjh had created a record at Vancouver's BC Place stadium in April, as he became the first Punjabi artist to perform at the venue as part of the Dil-Luminati tour.
In 2023, Diljit had also performed for a packed audience at Coachella, and with this, he had become the first Punjabi artist to perform at the music fest. As he arrived on the stage, Diljit announced his arrival with “Punjabi aa gaye Coachella oye” and the moment went viral on social media.
Diljit Dosanjh was recently seen in Imtiaz Ali's musical biopic ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’, co-starring Parineeti Chopra. He also had a supporting role in ‘Crew’, co-starring Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, Kriti Sanon and Kapil Sharma.
Diljit Dosanjh will next be seen in ‘Jatt and Juliet 3’, which is slated to release in cinemas on June 27, 2024. The trailer of the Punjabi film was unveiled last week.
