Jason Momoa Came Dressed As Johnny Depp On 'Aquaman 2' Set To Drive Amber Heard Away: Report

Leaked notes from Amber Heard's therapy sessions revealed that Elon Musk might have helped the actress from being fired from Jason Momoa-starrer 'Aquaman 2'. It is no news that Warner Bros wanted to fire Amber Heard from the movie amid her legal battle with actor Johnny Depp. In one of the therapy sessions reportedly from December 2021, Amber Heard had told her therapist that Jason Momoa was intoxicated on the film set one day and he even came dressed as Johnny Depp.
"Jason said he wanted me fired. Jason drunk — late on set. Dressing like Johnny. Has all the rings too,” Amber Heard's therapist notes state, as reported by Variety.
The notes also state that director James Wan also wanted to dump Amber Heard from the new Hollywood movie. “He raised his voice @ me — ‘I can’t even post about Aquaman’ — made it like it was my fault – I said ‘I’m sorry.' Nobody could take selfies with me on set given blackout,” state the notes.
As per Variety, Amber Heard's ex-boyfriend Elon Musk also warned Warner Bros against firing the actress from the film. For the unversed, the studio wanted to dump her even before her public legal battle with Johnny.
The reason being the lack of chemistry between Amber and Jason in the first part of 'Aquaman', which released back in 2018.
The Variety report states that Elon Musk's lawyer had sent a "scorched-earth letter to Warner Bros threatening to burn the house down” if Amber Heard is dropped from the sequel.
'Aquaman 2' is slated to release in cinemas on December 20.
Nicole Kidman, Temuera Morrison, Willem Dafoe and Dolph Lundgren will also be reprising their roles from the original film.
The new cast additions include Vincent Regan, Indya Moore and Pilou Asbæk.
James Wan has directed the film while the script has been written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick.
