Oscars 2024: Ryan Gosling gave a power-packed performance as he sang the 'Barbie' song 'I'm Just Ken'.

Ryan Gosling rocked the Oscars 2024 as he gave a rousing live performance of the 'Barbie' song 'I'm Just Ken'. For the unversed, 'I'm Just Ken' was one of the two songs from 'Barbie' that earned a nomination for Best Original Song. Billie Eilish's 'What Mas I Made For' was the other nominated track. Before Ryan Gosling's performance started, Gosling's 'Barbie' co-star Simu Liu asked the Oscars audience to turn on their phone lights and sing along to Gosling's performance.

Gosling was seen wearing a sparkling pink suit and pink gloves. He then started singing the song while in the audience sitting behind 'Barbie' lead Margot Robbie. He then made his way to the stage, where he was joined by Mark Ronson on guitar and a handful of backup dancers.

Slash also appeared on the stage, before contributing guitar to the song.

Gosling was joined on the stage by his fellow 'Barbie' actors Simu Liu, Scott Evans, Ncuti Gatwa and Kingsley Ben-Adir. Gosling also tapped his 'La La Land' co-star Emma Stone to sing along, too.

During Oscars 2024, Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosling also playfully roasted the rivalry between 'Barbie' and 'Oppenheimer', which was released in theatres on the same date last summer.

“I’m just happy that we can finally put this ‘Barbenheimer’ rivalry aside,” Gosling told Blunt.

“The way this award season has turned out, it wasn’t that much of a rivalry. Just let it go!,” Blunt quipped back, as a nod to how Christopher Nolan’s 'Oppenheimer' has dominated the awards season.

“It’s true. You guys are doing very well, you know? Congratulations,” Gosling told Blunt.
