Priyanka Chopra is reportedly set to star in Russo Brothers’ production venture ‘The Bluff’, a period drama set in the 1800s.
Global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas has made a mark for herself in the entertainment world after delivering several hit movies like ‘Barfi’, ‘Bajirao Mastani’, ‘Agneepath’, ‘7 Khoon Maaf’, and ‘Fashion’. PeeCee, who was last seen in the 2023 Amazon Prime Video series ‘Citadel’ and the 2023 romantic comedy ‘Love Again’, has bagged a new international project. As per reports, Priyanka Chopra is gearing up for an exciting new role in the upcoming film ‘The Bluff’, produced by filmmakers-producers Anthony Russo and Joe Russo under their banner AGBO Productions.
The movie is reportedly a period drama set in the 1800s. A Reddit user shared a screengrab of the casting call for the film, set to be directed by Frank E Flowers. Interestingly, ‘The Bluff’ was originally supposed to star Zoe Saldana, known for her work in ‘Avatar’ and ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, when details of the film were first reported a year ago.

The casting call also revealed the film’s logline, which reads, “In the 1800s, a woman (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) defends her family and village from a brutal pirate attack on their remote Caribbean Island as her past finally catches up with her.”
Shooting for the upcoming film is set to commence in June 2024. However, there is no official confirmation from the makers of ‘The Bluff’ about Priyanka Chopra Jonas headlining the film yet.
Talking about Priyanka Chopra, she made her Hollywood debut with the 2015 television series ‘Quantico’. Before that, the actress tried to showcase her singing talent with songs like ‘In My City’ and ‘Exotic', which also featured American rapper Pitbull.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas has also starred in films like ‘Baywatch’, ‘The Matrix Resurrections’, ‘Isn't It Romantic’, ‘A Kid Like Jake’, ‘We Can Be Heroes’ and most recently ‘Love Again’.
She also featured alongside Richard Madden in ‘Citadel’. The second season of the Amazon Prime Video series is reportedly in development.
PeeCee also has a Bollywood project in the pipeline. Priyanka Chopra Jonas will be starring alongside Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif in Farhan Akhtar's ‘Jee Le Zaraa’.
