Here are some of the reactions:
"Bro stealing an already unfunny meme and cropping out the person who actually posted it. Truly impressive how layered yet pathetic this is," commented one user.
"Hey @Elon, you are rich and famous. Ask one of the stand up comedians you hang with how they feel about JOKE THEFT," wrote another user.
"Go watch Tom Cruise then," wrote another user.
"Doesnt this go against your policy of stealing content," wrote another user.
"WTF! If someones attention span is that low (not finishing what they paid for) then honestly seize their devices and every electronics from that person. It is different when is a NETFLIX show or something," wrote another.
For the uninitiated, 'Oppenheimer' released in theatres alongside Greta Gerwig's 'Barbie'. Nolan's movie has opened to a USD 175 million collection worldwide, and on the other hand, Margot Robbie's 'Barbie' has opened to a worldwide collection of USD 337 million, as per Pinkvilla.
However, in India, 'Oppenheimer' is beating 'Barbie' by collecting Rs 49 crore over the opening weekend. 'Barbie' collected Rs 18.5 crore in three days.
'Oppenheimer' is based on the Pulitzer Prize–winning biography ‘American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer’.
The Christopher Nolan directorial revolves around J. Robert Oppenheimer (Murphy), who had famously led the Manhattan Project (the effort to create an atomic bomb during World War II).
The new Hollywood movie has a star-studded cast, including Murphy, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, Rami Malek, Kenneth Branagh, Gary Oldman, Robert Downey Jr, Benny Safdie, Josh Hartnett, and Michael Angarano among others.
