Here's what Zendaya had to say about 'Euphoria's third season.

Zendaya, who was last seen in smash-hit 'Dune: Part Two', alongside Timothee Chalamet, has said that she is unaware about the future of the third season of HBO's 'Euphoria'. She also said that she does not know whether there will be a third season or not. Although Zendaya is an executive producer of 'Euphoria', she has said that she is "not in charge" of whether the third season will happen or not “If it’s right for the characters and everything turns out the way it should, of course,” Zendaya said at the 'Challengers' premiere in Los Angeles, as per Variety.

“But it’s beyond me," she added.

For the unversed, on March 25, 2024, HBO announced the postponement of 'Euphoria' Season 3, saying that the network and creator Sam Levinson “remain committed to making an exceptional third season.”

“In the interim, we are allowing our in-demand cast to pursue other opportunities,” Variety quoted an HBO spokesperson as saying.

Storm Reid, who plays Rue's younger sister Gia on the show, had become the first cast member to speak publicly about the postponement.

“I would hope the viewers, the audience will be able to finish the show,” Reid said. 

“I think we should handle the show with care. We’ve put our hearts and soul into it," she added, as per Variety.

For the unversed, the first season of 'Euphoria' premiered in 2019 while the second season, came out three years later, in 2022. 

The series follows Rue Bennett (Zendaya), a troubled teenage drug addict, find her place in the world, and adjust to her relationships after rehab.
