‘Dune: Part Two’ Release Date Revealed! Find Out When It’s Hitting Theatres
The release date of ‘Dune: Part Two’, starring Zendaya and Timothee Chalamet, has been announced by the makers of the upcoming Hollywood movie.
Good news for all the ‘Dune’ fans! Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya’s ‘Dune: Part Two’ is coming to theatres sooner than expected. The Denis Villeneuve directorial is set to arrive in cinemas on November 3, 2023 instead of its previous release date of November 17, 2023, according to Variety. ‘Dune: Part Two’ has taken the previous spot of Marvel’s ‘Blade’, which was delayed to September 6, 2024. ‘Dune: Part Two’ was confirmed in October 2021.
The second installment of ‘Dune’ began filming on July 18. Apart from Zendaya and Timothee Chalamet, ‘Dune: Part Two’ will also feature Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgard, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Charlotte Rampling, Javier Bardem, Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, Christopher Walken and Lea Seydoux.
The screenplay for the sci-fi adventure movie has been written by Eric Roth, Jon Spaihts, and Villeneuve. ‘Dune: Part 2’ is co-produced by Legendary Pictures, Villeneuve Films, and Warner Bros. Pictures. Cale Boyter, Jessica Derhammer, Tanya Lapointe, Patrick McCormick, Mary Parent, and director Denis Villeneuve serve as producers for the upcoming Hollywood movie.
Villeneuve’s debut ‘Dune’, based on Frank Herbert’s science fiction novel of the same name, released in October 2021. According to Variety, the sci-fi, adventure movie amassed over USD 400 million at the global box office while also winning six Oscars.
‘Dune: Part Two’ will cover the second half of Frank Herbert’s 1965 novel, in which protagonist Paul Atreides (Timothee Chalamet) joins forces with the Fremen to avenge the death of his dear ones.
New characters will include Princess Irulan (Pugh), Harkonnen heir Feyd-Rautha (Butler), Shaddam IV (Walken) and Lady Margot (Seydoux).
