Bollywood actresss Deepika Padukone has confirmed that she would be attending the 95th Academy Awards as one of the presenters of the show. The announcement was made by the 'Pathaan' actress on her official Instagram account and hence her fans cannot keep calm. Taking to Instagram, Deepika Padukone shared the initial list of the presenters of the ceremony and she captioned the post as: "#oscars #oscars95."

Apart from Deepika Padukone, Emily Blunt, Riz Ahmed, Glenn Close, Jennifer Connelly, Ariana DeBose, Samuel L Jackson, Dwayne Johnson, Michael B Jordon, Troy Kotsur, Jonathan Majors, Melissa McCarthy, Janelle Monae, Questlove, Zoe Saldana and Donnie Yen will also be presenting at the ceremony.

The 95th Academy Awards will be held at Los Angeles' Dolby Theatre on March 12 (March 13 in India). 

The actress was last seen in Siddharth Anand's 'Pathaan' which has minted more than Rs 500 crore at the domestic box office. Internationally, the film has raked in more than Rs 1,000 crore.

Deepika Padukone will next be seen in 'Fighter' opposite Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor. This movie is also being directed by Siddharth Anand. 

In December 2022, Deepika had unveiled the FIFA World Cup trophy before the final between Argentina and France. Last year, she was also one of the jury members at Cannes Film Festival.

Talking about Oscars 2023, India has a chance to make it big as 'RRR' song 'Naatu Naatu' is nominated in the Best Original Song category while two documentaries -- 'All That Breathes' and 'The Elephant Whisperers' have also been nominated in different categories. 

'Naatu Naatu' will also be performed live at the ceremony. This announcement was made by The Academy earlier this week.
