Todd Phillips, the director of the ‘Joker’ sequel, has announced the wrap of the new Hollywood film by sharing new photos of Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga.
Todd Phillips, the director of ‘Joker: Folie a Deux’ (Joker 2), has shared an update about the new Hollywood film amid intense craze for the Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga starrer. He revealed that the shoot for the new Hollywood film has finally completed and he will now start work on the post production of the ‘Joker’ sequel. Todd Phillips also thanked the cast and crew of ‘Joker: Folie a Deux’ in his new Instagram post.
Taking the excitement of the movie buffs a notch higher, the director of the new Hollywood film also shared new images of Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga from the ‘Joker’ sequel.

The first picture that he shared happens to be of Lady Gaga, who stars as Harley Quinn in the film. Lady Gaga can be seen with OTT makeup in the picture with crimson lips, smudged eye makeup and a super intense stare.
The second shot is of Joaquin Phoenix. His pose is strikingly similar to the scene in the 2019 film ‘Joker’, where he looked out a window whilst in the back of the car with his face painted and with a hint of sorrow in his eyes.
Fans were thrilled to see the update on the Hollywood film and took to the comment section of the post to react to it.

For the unversed, Joaquin Phoenix won the Best Actor Oscar for his performance in ‘Joker’.
Directed by Todd Phillips, the 2019 Hollywood film showcased the story of a lonely, depressed and failed comedian named Arthur Fleck, who slowly turns into a maniac and changes the fate of Gotham City.
The film also starred Zazie Beetz, Frances Conroy, Marc Maron, Brett Cullen. Robert De Niro featured in a cameo appearance in the film.
Meanwhile, before Lady Gaga, Margot Robbie played Harley Quinn in the ‘Suicide Squad’ series of films and ‘Birds Of Prey’.
Coming back to ‘Joker 2’, the film is slated to arrive in theatres on October 4, 2024.
