Tom Cruise jumped out of a plane to say thank you to fans for supporting his movie 'Top Gun: Maverick' in theatres.
Age is definitely not catching up with Tom Cruise any time soon as the actor continues to do jaw-dropping stunts in his movies. Now, Tom Cruise, who is 60 years old, delivered a real-life stunt as he jumped out of a plane, while thanking the fans for making his movie 'Top Gun: Maverick' a raging success at the box office. In the video shared by Tom Cruise on Twitter, the actor can be seen in a plane, talking to director Christopher McQuarrie before jumping from a plane.
“Hey everyone, here we are over stunning South Africa, and we’re filming ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning' parts one and two. I didn’t want the year to end without thanking you all for coming out to the theaters, and thank you for supporting ‘Top Gun: Maverick'," Tom Cruise says in the video.

In the video, Cruise can be seen talking to his 'Mission Impossible - Dead Reckoning' director Christopher McQuarrie. The filmmaker is sitting inside the plane.
McQuarrie first thanks the fans and then he shifts to Cruise to say: "Hey, listen, we really have got to roll. We’ve got to get this shot.”
Cruise then jumps out of the plane. As soon as the actor reached the starfish position to brace himself against air resistance, he focuses on the camera again to say: "As always, thank you for allowing us to entertain you. It truly is the honor of a lifetime. I’m running out of altitude, so I’ve got to get back to work. We’ve got to get this shot. You have a very safe and happy holiday. We’ll see you at the movies."
Tom Cruise's 'Top Gun: Maverick' is the highest grossing film of 2022, earning more than USD 700 million at the domestic box office, as per Variety.
'Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One' is slated to release in theatres on July 14, 2023.
The second part 'Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two' is slated to hit the big screen on June 28, 2024.
