The 'Ae Watan Mere Watan' trailer is out now! The film, starring Sara Ali Khan, will be releasing on March 21, 2024.

Sara Ali Khan is one of the most popular young actors in Bollywood currently, and in the latest Bollywood movie news, she is gearing up for the release of her next film 'Ae Watan Mere Watan'. The upcoming Hindi film will be releasing on March 21, 2024 on Prime Video, and the makers have finally unveiled the latest Hindi movie trailer. Set against the backdrop of 1942’s Quit India Movement, the new Hindi movie is inspired by real events and chronicles a pivotal chapter from India’s quest for Independence. 

From the first frame itself, the 'Ae Watan Mere Watan' trailer transports the audience to the pre-independence era, introducing us to 22-year-old Usha (played by Sara Ali Khan), a college girl in Bombay, who in her pursuit of helping India achieve its freedom, forms an underground radio station that becomes the fuel that fires the Quit India Movement. 

Through her character's journey, the 'Ae Watan Mere Watan' trailer highlights the courage, sacrifices, and the resourcefulness of the youth of the nation during India’s fight for freedom.

The patriotic thriller-drama is a Dharmatic Entertainment production. The new Hindi movie is produced by Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra. Directed by Kannan Iyer, the film has been written by Iyer and Darab Farooqui. 

Apart from Sara Ali Khan, the new Hindi film also stars Sachin Khedekar, Abhay Verma, Sparsh Shrivastav, Alexx O' Nell and Anand Tiwari in pivotal roles. 'Ae Watan Mere Watan' will also see a special appearance by Emraan Hashmi.

To embody the spirit of my character and diving into her consciousness and understanding what motivates and inspires her has been humbling and empowering," actor Sara Ali Khan, said in an official statement.

Apart from 'Ae Watan Mere Watan', Sara Ali Khan will also be seen in 'Murder Mubarak'. The new Hindi film which also stars Karisma Kapoor, Vijay Varma, Pankaj Tripathi and Sanjay Kapoor, will be released on Netflix on March 15.
