'IB71' Trailer: Vidyut Jammwal Is On A Mission To Save India
'IB71' stars Vidyut Jammwal in a lead role and the movie is touted to be a patriotic spy thriller.
The trailer for Vidyut Jammwal-starrer 'IB71' is out! The new Hindi movie claims to tell the story of a mission that was "hidden for 50 years." The new Hindi Bollywood movie is being touted as a patriotic spy thriller and it is being billed as an "untold story based on true events." 'IB71' is about an IB agent Dev, who goes on a top-secret mission to save India from an attack by Pakistan. The two-minute trailer shows Vidyut Jammwal's character coming up with an "impossible" plan to blocking the air space, in order to avert the attack from neighbouring country.

'IB71' also stars Anupam Kher and Vishal Jethwa in prominent roles.
“IB71 is a story about the most classified mission that gave us an advantage in the 1971 Indo Pak war. I am thrilled to bring this story of our IB (Intelligence Bureau) officers who are the true unsung heroes of India,” Vidyut Jammwal said in a statement.
The new Hindi Bollywood movie has been directed by Sankalp Reddy, who had previously helmed 'The Ghazi Attack'.
“I was shocked when Vidyut came to me with this story. I really appreciate the way Vidyut has stepped out of his comfort zone for this film and decided to take up an unconventional role for the first time. I am glad that I got an opportunity to work with such powerful performers such as Anupam Sir , Vishal Jethwa and a great ensemble with promising roles in the film,” said the director.
'IB71' is Vidyut Jammwal's first movie as a producer with his production house 'Action Hero Films'.
The movie is slated to release in the theatres on May 12.
