'Khufiya' Trailer: Tabu, Ali Fazal And Wamiqa Gabbi Star In This Engaging Spy Thriller

Netflix on Monday unveiled the trailer for its highly anticipated spy thriller, 'Khufiya', directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. The new Hindi movie starring Tabu, Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi, Ashish Vidyarthi and Azmeri Haque Badhon, will be releasing on the streaming platform on October 5. The new Hindi movie is based on true events and is based on a book 'Escape to Nowhere', written by the former Chief of the Counter Espionage Unit of R&AW, Amar Bhushan.
The 'Khufiya' trailer follows R&AW trying to find out a traitor within. It is shown how Ali Fazal's character can possibly be a mole. Tabu then leads her team to nab the mole, but suspicion continues to shift from one character to the other.
In the 'Khufiya' trailer, it is also shown how Wamiqa Gabbi is playing the wife of Ali Fazal, and how she also wonders whether her husband is a "deshdrohi".

On the other hand, Tabu shared, “I am so happy to be once again working with my favorite director Vishal Bhardwaj as we reunite for the third time after Haider and Maqbool. Vishal's unique vision and storytelling have always intrigued me, and Khufiya is no exception. Super excited for Netflix audiences to watch Khufiya on 5 October."
'Khufiya' has been written by Vishal Bharadwaj and Rohan Narula and it has been produced by Vishal Bharadwaj Films.
Earlier, in an interview with news agency PTI, Tabu had described 'Khufiya' as more than just a typical spy thriller.
“It (the film) has turned out really well. It’s thrilling, but different, like a classic Vishal film with his signature touch. We also have a fantastic ensemble cast, and it was so much fun collaborating with them. It is a personal film for all of us because we shot it quietly in Delhi, then in Canada. It’s a world that will, hopefully, pull you in," Tabu had said.
