The wait is finally over! The 'Maidaan' trailer has been released, and we can safely say, that the wait was absolutely worth it. The sports drama promises to be an inspiring tale, and we cannot wait for Ajay Devgn's 'Maidaan' to release in theatres. Mark your calendars, 'Maidaan' will be releasing in cinemas on Eid 2024. As a result, the upcoming Hindi movie will clash with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' at the box office.

Ajay Devggn's 'Maidaan' promises to be an engaging sports drama. The ‘Maidaan’ trailer showcases how Ajay Devgn is playing the role of the coach of the Indian football team, who makes it his mission to create a world-class Indian football team.

Ajay Devgn's character then goes on a mission to find the best possible squad to increase the thrill of Indian football. Not many people know that the Indian men's football team won a gold medal at the 1962 Asian Games. Ajay Devggn's 'Maidaan' will tell the story of exactly this achievement.

Ajay Devggn's 'Maidaan' is based on the golden years of Indian football, and the plot deals with the true story of Syed Abdul Rahim (played by Ajay Devgn), who served as a coach and manager of the Indian football team from 1950 until he died in 1963.

Apart from Ajay Devgn, the film also stars Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Rudranil Ghosh.

Ajay Devggn's 'Maidaan' has been produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta, and Akash Chawla. ‘Maidaan’ has been directed by Amit Sharma, who had earlier helmed Ayushmann Khurrana and Neena Gupta-starrer ‘Badhaai Ho’. 

The upcoming sports drama has been delayed multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Apart from ‘Maidaan’, Ajay Devgn will also be seen in ‘Shaitaan’, alongside Jyotika and R Madhavan. The film will be releasing in cinemas on Friday, March 8.
