'Shaitaan' Trailer: Ajay Devgn, Jyotika And R Madhavan Promise Spook Fest

Off late, we have been flooded with movies in the action genre, and Bollywood is coming up with films in the same genre time and again. However, trust Ajay Devgn to break the monotony. In the latest Bollywood movie news, the actor on Thursday unveiled the trailer for his upcoming Hindi film 'Shaitaan', which also stars South superstar Jyotika and R Madhavan. The film looks completely fresh, and it looks like a spookfest of the highest degree.
In the film, Ajay Devgn and Jyotika are playing a married couple, and the trailer begins with Jyotika dialing up the police to complain about a man who has entered her house "forcefully". She then says that the man will end up killing her daughter if the police take no action.
We are then shown how the character of R Madhavan goes on to do some magic on the daughter of Ajay and Jyotika's characters, and how the young kid ends up being possessed. The daughter then starts to cause pain to her parents.
"Ye aapki ladli meri katputli hai aur main iska Bhagwaan," says the character of R Madhavan.

The supernatural flick has been directed by Vikas Bahl, and the film promises to be spine-chilling. 'Shaitaan' is presented by Jio Studios, Ajay Devgn FFilms, and Panorama Studios International. The movie is produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak.
The film is slated to release in theatres on March 8, 2024.
On the work front, Ajay Devgn will next be seen in 'Maidaan', which will release on the same date as Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff-starrer 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'. Both films will be releasing in cinemas on Eid 2024.
‘Maidaan’ has been directed by Amit Sharma, who had earlier helmed Ayushmann Khurrana and Neena Gupta-starrer ‘Badhaai Ho’. The film is based on the golden years of Indian football, and it deals with the true story of Syed Abdul Rahim (played by Ajay Devgn), who served as a coach and manager of the Indian football team from 1950 until he died in 1963.
