The wait is over! The trailer for Janhvi Kapoor-starrer ‘Ulajh’ is out and the new Hindi film promises to be a gritty political-thriller. In the latest entertainment news, the latest Hindi movie trailer for ‘Ulajh’ sees Janhvi Kapoor playing the role of a young bureaucrat, who is suspected of being a spy and leaking confidential information. The latest Hindi movie trailer begins with Janhvi's character Suhana Bhatia, a graduate of St. Stephen's College and Harvard University. We are then shown how she becomes the youngest Deputy High Commissioner of the country. However, this position leads her colleagues to doubt her ability and they even call her a product of nepotism who does not deserve to hold that position.
We are then introduced to the character of Gulshan Devaiah and it seems that he is playing an undercover agent in the film.
We are then also shown how there is an internal leak and as a result, lives of two government undercover agents are in danger.
The latest Hindi movie trailer ends with Janhvi Kapoor’s life in danger, but she declares that she will not go down without a fight.

‘Ulajh’ is backed by the makers of Raazi, Badhaai Do and Talvar, while it is directed by National Award-winning director Sudhanshu Saria.
The film also stars Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang and Adil Hussain in key roles.
The script has been co-written by Sudhanshu and Parveez Shaikh, while Atika Chauhan has penned the dialogues.
The movie will be releasing on August 2, 2024.
Earlier, while speaking about the film, Janhvi Kapoor in a statement said, "When I was approached with the script of Ulajh, it instantly attracted me because as an actor, I am constantly looking for scripts that make me break out of my comfort zone and portraying a character based in the celebrated world of the Indian Foreign Services was just that."
"Just as the name of the film suggests, my character and the story, have so many layers, emotions, and parameters, which are challenging and exciting at the same time. I am thrilled for the audience to see me in this new role envisioned by Sudhanshu, who has such a fresh approach towards dealing with this genre. I am also looking forward to work with such talented co-actors and a development studio like Junglee Pictures for the first time," she added.
