Watch: Allu Arjun Asked To Remove Mask At Mumbai Airport, Netizens React To Viral Video
Allu Arjun’s brief exchange with a CISF officer at Mumbai Airport over a routine face verification has gone viral, sparking a massive debate online.
Even the biggest stars aren’t above basic security protocols — something Allu Arjun was reminded of during a recent airport run-in. A video of Telugu superstar at Mumbai Airport has gone viral, drawing widespread attention and sparking online debate. The ‘Pushpa’ actor was captured in a brief but noticeable exchange with a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officer during a routine security check. Dressed casually in a white T-shirt and black tracks, Allu Arjun approached the airport’s entry gate and presented his ID.
The CISF staff then requested that he remove his sunglasses and face mask for identity verification. Initially, the actor appeared hesitant and engaged in a short conversation with the officer. A member of his team also stepped in to speak with the CISF personnel.
After a brief back-and-forth, Allu Arjun complied – first removing his sunglasses, then quickly lowering his mask to reveal his face for confirmation – before promptly putting the mask back on and proceeding inside.

Yesterday at Airport security , Allu Arjun was stopped by an officer and asked to show his face with Id. Allu was initially reluctant, and after a brief exchange of words, his assistant tried to convince the officer that he was Allu Arjun. Even then,… pic.twitter.com/sv0i6mf6EU
Clips of the interaction, widely shared on X and Reddit, quickly went viral. Many netizens criticised the actor’s reluctance to follow a standard security protocol, calling it unnecessary and ego-driven.
One user wrote, “Just show your full face man, why be so egoistic? Sadly these people think themselves as Gods because of stupid fans and don’t care to follow protocols.”
Another added, “The CISF guy was 100% within his right to ask the actor to show his face.”
Some comments took a sarcastic turn, with one referencing his famous ‘Pushpa’ dialogue by writing, “Pushpa jhuk gaya lol,” while another quipped, “Idhar jhukna padega.”
While the brief hesitation drew flak, some also saw the incident as a reminder that celebrity status doesn’t exempt anyone from security norms.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Allu Arjun is gearing up for his next big project ‘AA22xA6’, directed by Atlee. The film boasts a star-studded cast, including Deepika Padukone, Rashmika Mandanna, Janhvi Kapoor, and Mrunal Thakur. Planned as a multilingual release, it is targeting a worldwide theatrical debut in late 2026 or early 2027.
