Allu Arjun interacted with the audience at a recent ‘Pushpa 2’ event, and it was then that a fan breached security to jump on the stage.
‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, is one of the most-awaited Indian films of 2024. And the release of the film is upon us. The pan-India project is set to release worldwide on Thursday, December 5 and ahead of the arrival in theatres, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to promote the film. An event was organised in Hyderabad on Monday and it was attended by the entire star cast alongside SS Rajamouli, director Sukumar, Sreeleela and others.
At the event, Allu Arjun also interacted with the audience and it was then that a fan breached security to jump on the stage. As soon as the fan reached in front of Allu Arjun, others tackled him to the ground. However, the actor intervened and asked the staff to let him go. Allu Arjun also posed for a picture with his excited fan.
The clip with the actor smiling and telling the audience, “I love my fans.”

Soon after the video surfaced on Reddit, several social media users reacted to it. One user commented, “Totally not staged. Lol.”
Another user commented, “This has been happening for years in all actor's events. AA is no exception.”
A third one said, “Somehow, I love my fans felt so weird.”
“Seems like staged drama,” another comment on the post read.
Earlier, Allu Arjun had taken to X (formerly Twitter) to thank the Telangana government for allowing the ticket price hike for 'Pushpa 2'.
“I extend my heartfelt thanks to the Government of Andhra Pradesh for approving the ticket hike. This progressive decision demonstrates your steadfast commitment to the growth and prosperity of the Telugu film industry. A special note of thanks to the Hon’ble @AndhraPradeshCM, Shri @ncbn garu, for his vision and unwavering encouragement to the industry,” he wrote.
“I also express my sincere thanks to the Hon’ble @APDeputyCMO, Shri @PawanKalyan garu, for his invaluable support in empowering the film industry,” the actor added.
As per industry tracker Sacnilk, the advance booking for the movie is going through the roof and ‘Pushpa 2’ has already collected Rs 37.59 crore for Day 1.
More than 12 lakh tickets across all languages have already been sold for the film’s opening day of its release. The Hindi version is currently outperforming the Telugu version and this is unprecedented, considering ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is originally a Telugu movie.
‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ also stars Rao Ramesh, Sunil, Ajay Ghosh, Dhananjaya, and Prathap Bhandari.
For the unversed, ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ had released in cinemas on December 17, 2021. The movie emerged as a massive rage in the country, and everything about the film turned out to be smash-hit.
