Ayesha Khan To Star In ‘Lucky Baskhar' Alongside Dulquer Salmaan
Ayesha Khan will be joining Malayalam superstar Dulquer Salmaan for their upcoming film titled 'Lucky Baskhar'.
Ayesha Khan, who was last seen in 'Bigg Boss 17' is making headlines for all the best possible reasons. Ayesha Khan who was able to win over the audience through her antics inside the 'Bigg Boss 17' house, has managed to grab a big movie. Yes, you read that right. Ayesha Khan will be joining Malayalam superstar Dulquer Salmaan for their upcoming film titled 'Lucky Baskhar'. As per several reports, the film is being touted as an entertainer.
"The love I get from my south-Indian fans is overwhelming and is something I will always cherish. I’ve always wanted to push myself to do better and who better than Dulquer Salmaan to be in the process with. Dulquer has been someone whose craft I have always admired," news agency IANS quoted Ayesha Khan as saying.
"I am super excited for my special appearance in the film. It’s an honour to perform under Venky sir’s direction and to be a part of such a fine team," she added.
Earlier, Dulquer Salmaan had shared the first look from the film on Saturday.
Taking to Instagram, he wrote, "Celebrating twelve years of my magical journey in Cinema, here's presenting the first look of our very ambitious #LuckyBaskhar. #LuckyBaskharFirstLook. Story unfolds in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil & Hindi at the theatres near you, soon."
For the unversed, the film is being directed by Venky Atluri and backed by Sithara Entertainment in collaboration with Fortune Four Cinemas.
Dulquer Salmaan was last seen in 'King of Kotha'. He will reportedly be seen in Nag Ashwin's 'Kalki 2898 AD' as well.
'Kalki 2898 AD' stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani in lead roles. The film is slated to release in cinemas on May 9, 2024.
