“Panjabi Aagye Oyee”: Diljit Dosanjh All Set To Debut On Jimmy Fallon's ‘The Tonight Show’, Kareena Kapoor Reacts
Be it his music concerts, movies, or hit songs, Diljit Dosanjh is having the best year so far. And now, he is all set to make his debut on Jimmy Fallon’s ‘The Tonight Show’.
Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh is making headlines for all the right reasons. With his hit songs and grand music concerts, he has truly become a global sensation. The singer-actor, who was last seen in Imtiaz Ali's ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’, is set to make his debut on Jimmy Fallon's ‘The Tonight Show’. In a new Instagram post on Wednesday, Diljit Dosanjh confirmed the news with a bunch of pictures. He captioned the post as, “PANJABI AAGYE OYEE. This Week’s Guest.”
He further added in his caption, “BHANGRA HUN MAINSTREAM PENA. PROPER HOLLYWOOD.” One of the pictures showed the guest list for the week on the popular show. Apart from Diljit Dosanjh, the guest list also includes popular actors Eddie Murphy, Kevin Costner, and ‘The Bear’ star Matty Matheson.

Soon after Diljit Dosanjh shared the news on Instagram, several celebrities and fans reacted to his post.
Kareena Kapoor Khan, who has shared screen space with Diljit Dosanjh in movies like ‘Udta Punjab’, ‘Good Newwz’ and ‘Crew’, commented, “Ufffff.”
Diljit Dosanjh’s ‘Jatt And Juliet 3’ co-star Neeru Bajwa also dropped clapping emojis.
Anil Kapoor also commented on the post with clapping emojis.
Neha Dhupia wrote, “G.O.A.T.”
Earlier this year, Diljit Dosanjh had created a record at Vancouver's BC Place stadium in April, as he became the first Punjabi artist to perform at the venue as part of the Dil-Luminati tour.
He had also posted pictures on Instagram from his packed concert, and captioned the post as, “HISTORY HAS BEEN WRITTEN (writing emoji) BC PLACE STADIUM (building emoji) SOLD OUT (face with goggles emoji) DIL-LUMINATI TOUR (monster emoji).”
In 2023, Diljit had also performed for a packed audience at Coachella, and with this, he had become the first Punjabi artist to perform at the music fest.
As he arrived on the stage, Diljit announced his arrival with “Punjabi aa gaye Coachella oye” and the moment went viral on social media.
Diljit Dosanjh was recently seen in Imtiaz Ali's musical biopic ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’, co-starring Parineeti Chopra.
He also had a supporting role in ‘Crew’, co-starring Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, Kriti Sanon and Kapil Sharma.
Diljit Dosanjh will next be seen in ‘Jatt and Juliet 3’, which is slated to release in cinemas on June 27, 2024. The trailer of the Punjabi film was unveiled on Tuesday evening.
