On the work front, Lokesh Kanagaraj's latest directorial 'Leo' starring Vijay and Trisha Krishnan released in theatres in October 2023. The movie which is a latest addition to the Lokesh Cinematic Universe, was a massive hit.

'Leo' followed 'Kaithi' and 'Vikram'. The director’s next film will be the yet-to-be-titled 'Thalaivar 171', which will go on-floors once Rajinikanth wraps up his current film with TJ Gnanavel.

The director is also expected to make new additions to the LCU with 'Kaithi 2' and the introduction of Suriya’s character 'Rolex'.
