Hollywood producer Jason Blum has predicted that SS Rajamouli's -'RRR' will win the Best Picture award at the Oscars.
The nominations for Oscars 2023 will come out on January 24 and ahead of the final list being rolled out, SS Rajamouli-directorial 'RRR' has gotten a major shot in the arm as bigwig hollywood producer Jason Blum has predicted that the Indian film would win the Best Picture accolade at the Academy Awards. Blum is the founder of Blumhouse Productions, and he has mastered the art of making horror movies. Taking to Twitter, Jason Blum wrote: "I’m going with RRR winning best pic. You heard it here first. Mark it down, please. If I’m right, I am awarding myself my own Oscar."

Last week, Oscar winning actress Jessica Chastain had shared her experience of watching 'RRR'.
Taking to Twitter, she wrote: "Watching this film was such a party." She wrote this as she reposted a video of the song 'Naatu Naatu' from the movie.

‘RRR’ and ‘Last Film Show’ (Chhello Show) were shortlisted for Oscars 2023. The shortlists for the 95th Academy Awards were announced for 10 categories.
‘RRR’ was shortlisted for its energetic song ‘Naatu Naatu’, while ‘Last Film Show’ was shortlisted for the International Feature Film category.
The official nominations for Oscars 2023 will be unveiled on January 24, 2023, while the Oscars ceremony will be held on March 12, at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles.
'RRR' had made history after picking up two nominations at the upcoming Golden Globes 2023. The movie has been nominated in Best Picture- Non English Language and Best Original Song categories.
‘RRR’, starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, has bagged various international awards including Rajamouli’s Best Director award by the New York Film Critics Circle. It also won the Saturn Award for Best International Film.
The National Board of Review named ‘RRR’ as one of its 10 best films of the year. The movie’s music director MM Keeravani recently bagged the Los Angeles Film Critics Association award for best music score.
