Janhvi Kapoor, who turned a year older today, has been roped in to star opposite Ram Charan in Buchi Babu Sana’s directorial ‘RC 16’.

Janhvi Kapoor, who turned a year older today, has consistently picked diverse movies in order to showcase her acting skills. Having starred in movies like ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’, ‘Roohi’, ‘Good Luck Jerry’, ‘Mili’, and ‘Bawaal’, Janhvi Kapoor has tried to bring forth a new character every time she has appeared on screen. On Janhvi Kapoor’s 27th birthday today, the makers of Buchi Babu Sana’s ‘RC 16’ gave a big surprise to her fans. Janhvi Kapoor has been roped in to star opposite Ram Charan in the upcoming film, tentatively titled ‘RC 16’.
Mythri Movie Makers, the production company behind ‘RC 16’, made the announcement on X (formerly Twitter). The makers also shared a beautiful picture of Janhvi Kapoor in an elegant golden saree.

The pan-India entertainer is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Vriddhi Cinemas and Sukumar Writings. Iconic music producer AR Rahman will score the music of the upcoming film.
‘RC 16’ marks the first collaboration between the dynamic duo of Ram Charan and Buchi Babu Sana, renowned for his work on the critically acclaimed 2021 film ‘Uppena’.
For Janhvi Kapoor, this upcoming project is her second Telugu film. She will be seen opposite Jr. NTR in ‘Devara’, directed by Koratala Siva. ‘Devara’, co-starring Saif Ali Khan, marks her Telugu film debut.
While the makers have kept the details of ‘RC 16’ under wraps, according to Pinkvilla, the movie will be a rural sports drama with Kabaddi as its central theme.
Coming back to Janhvi Kapoor, she was last seen in ‘Bawaal’ alongside Varun Dhawan. Besides ‘RC 16’ and ‘Devara’, Janhvi Kapoor will also star in ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ opposite Rajkummar Rao, Sudhanshu Saria’s ‘Ulajh’, and ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ opposite Varun Dhawan.
