Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan-starrer 'Devara' will be releasing in two parts.
Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor, who is known for starring in films like ‘Dhadak’, ‘Roohi’, ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ and ‘Ghost Stories’, among others, will be making her Telugu debut with ‘Devara’. The upcoming film also stars Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles. ‘Devara’, which was earlier called ‘NTR 30’, is one of the most anticipated pan-India projects. And fans have been eagerly waiting for an update regarding its release. Now, the makers have revealed that the movie will be releasing in two parts.
The announcement was made by 'Devara' director Koratala Siva through the official Twitter page of the movie. He said that the big-budget spectacle will be releasing in two parts as one film will not be able to do justice to all the characters involved.
The first part of ‘Devara’ will be releasing in theatres on April 5, 2024.

"The film is set against the forgotten lands of coastal India and the canvas is too big. As we started shooting the film, the canvas revealed itself and started getting bigger and bigger. Every character in the film has its own weight and they need to be explored and established in depth and in detail, which we can’t justify in one part," the director said, as quoted by the Indian Express.
"So, we took the decision to tell this big story and canvas in two parts. The story won’t change in shape but will thrive in scale. One of the biggest canvases ever of Devara will be done in two parts and April 5, 2024 is just the beginning," he added.
For the uninitiated, 'Devara' has been produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, while the movie is being presented by Nandamuri Kalyana Ram.
The new Telugu movie also stars Shine Tom Chacko, Prakash Raj, Jissu Sengupta, Srikanth, Narine, Murali Sharma. The film's music is being provided by 'Jawan' and 'Jailer' fame Anirudh Ravichander. The cinematography of 'Devara' is being done by R Rathnavelu.
Coming back to Janhvi Kapoor, she will also be seen in ‘Ulajh’ and ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’. Meanwhile, Jr NTR also has 'War 2' in the pipeline.
