"Deeply Shocked": Jr NTR Reaches India From Earthquake-Hit Japan

'RRR' star Jr NTR has returned from Japan, and said that his heart goes out to the people of Japan, which was hit by an earthquake of 7.6 magnitude.

'RRR' star Jr NTR has returned from Japan, and said that his heart goes out to the people of Japan.

'RRR' star Jr NTR on Tuesday confirmed that he has finally returned to India after spending a week in Japan. For the unversed, Japan was hit by an earthquake measuring 7.6 magnitude. As per Indian Express, at least 30 people have been killed by the earthquake and the rescue operations are ongoing in Japan. In the latest entertainment news, Jr NTR said that his heart goes out to the people of Japan. He also hoped for a "swift" recovery. 

"Back home today from Japan and deeply shocked by the earthquakes hitting. Spent the entire last week there, and my heart goes out to everyone affected. Grateful for the resilience of the people and hoping for a swift recovery. Stay strong, Japan," Jr NTR wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

As per news agency Reuters, rescue operations in Japan have been hindered by badly damaged and blocked roads.

On the work front, Jr NTR will next be seen in 'Devara', alongside Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor.

Directed by Koratala Siva, the film is set in a coastal town. The movie is slated to release in theatres on April 5, 2024. 

'Devara' marks the South film debut of Janhvi Kapoor, and she is also collaborating with Jr NTR for the first time. 

The upcoming Telugu film will be releasing in theatres in two parts. 

'Devara's first glimpse will be unveiled on January 8, 2024. Jr NTR had released a fresh poster of 'Devara' on Monday. 

'Devara' will be Jr NTR's first release after the global success of SS Rajamouli's 'RRR', which also starred Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn.
