Mohanlal, Shanaya Kapoor-Starrer 'Vrushabha' Goes On Floors

Filming for 'Vrushabha', starring Mohanlal and Shanaya Kapoor has begun, the makers confirmed on Sunday. For the unversed, Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms is teaming up with Connekkt Media and AVS Studios for this particular movie, which is being filmed in Telugu and Malayalam. South superstar Mohanlal confirmed the development on his Twitter account. “Vrushabha takes its first step towards the frame! As the clapboard snaps shut for #Vrushabha, we ask for your love and blessings," the 'Drishyam' actor tweeted.

"The Vrushabha team are beyond elated and grateful to have the opportunity to bring to life this one of its kind pan-India epic adventure full of jaw-dropping action, intense drama, and raw emotions," the makers said in an official statement.
Apart from Mohanlal and Shanaya Kapoor, 'Vrushabha' also stars Roshann Meka and Zahrah S Khan.
The movie will be released next year in multiple languages including Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi.
Earlier, Shanaya Kapoor had spoken about the project and expressed her gratitude. News18 quoted Shanaya Kapoor as saying, “I am highly excited to face the camera and begin shoot, there will be so much to learn and explore from this film. The storyline is a fascinating one which has stayed with me. Also, the film has all big names associated with it, and is being made on a massive scale, it’s the kind of role any young actor would be excited, and inspired to play."
"Especially so early in one’s career. It’s a dream come true. And with Mohanlal sir on board, I feel honoured to be a part of Vrushabha. Extremely grateful," she added.
Shanaya Kapoor is not the only star kid venturing into Bollywood. Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda are also making their debut in Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming film, ‘The Archies’.
