Prabhas Unveils His First Look As Rudra From ‘Kannappa’
Prabhas, who last delivered a hit in the form of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, has unveiled his first look from ‘Kannappa’.
Indian star Prabhas, known for his commanding screen presence and larger-than-life roles, last delivered a hit in the form of the 2024 movie ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. He is now all set to feature in the upcoming movie ‘Kannappa’. On Monday, Prabhas took to his Instagram account to unveil his first look as ‘Rudra’ from the upcoming mythological film. His caption read, “The Divine Guardian ‘Rudra’. Unveiling my look as ‘Rudra’. The embodiment of strength and wisdom as the unwavering protector in #Kannappa. A timeless journey of devotion, sacrifice, and love.”
In his caption, Prabhas also revealed the release date of the upcoming film as he wrote, “Join us on this epic adventure, coming to theatres on April 25, 2025.”

The poster showcased Prabhas in a powerful and intense avatar, embodying the essence of his character. Clad in traditional attire, he wielded a Trishul, symbolizing his divine association. The background featured a blend of earthy tones and mystical imagery, with a towering sculpture of Lord Shiva's face, reinforcing the spiritual essence of his character.
Soon after Prabhas shared his first look from the upcoming movie, several social media users reacted to it.

As per reports, the upcoming mythological movie will follow the journey of Kannappa, an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva.
‘Kannappa’ is being directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory.
The upcoming Telugu movie also stars Vishnu Manchu, Akshay Kumar, Preity Mukhundhan, Mohanlal, Mohan Babu, R Sarathkumar, Brahmanandam, Madhoo, and Mukesh Rishi.
Scheduled to release worldwide on April 25, 2025, ‘Kannappa’ will be available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
With its stellar cast, high production values, and captivating storyline, the film has already generated massive anticipation. The unveiling of Prabhas’ first look as Rudra has further heightened excitement.
Meanwhile, Prabhas was last seen alongside Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. The movie grossed over Rs 646 crore in India and Rs 1042 worldwide, as per industry tracker Sacnilk.
