'Pushpa 2: The Rule' Postponed, To Release On THIS Date In 2024

Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil's much-awaited 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' has officially been postponed, and the Telugu movie will not be released in theatres on August 15, 2024. Production house Mythri Movie Makers on Monday evening confirmed the development on social media. In the latest entertainment news, 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' will now be released worldwide on December 6, 2024.
"We intend to give you the best. The wait increases for a memorable experience on the big screens. #Pushpa2TheRule Grand release worldwide on 6th DECEMBER 2024. His rule will be phenomenal. His rule will be unprecedented," Mythri Movie Makers wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

In their official statement, the makers said, "Pushpa 2: The Rule is one of the most anticipated Indian films. Following the immense success of 'Pushpa: The Rise, our responsibility to deliver excellence has increased significantly. We have been tirelessly working to complete the movie and release it on time. However, due to the remaining shoot and subsequent post-production work, we will not be releasing the film on August 15th, 2024."
"This decision is made in the best interest of the film, the audience, and all stakeholders. Our goal is to provide a memorable experience on the big screen without compromising quality. The overwhelming response to our teaser and songs across all languages has been heartening and we promise to deliver a film that you will truly love," the statement added.
Further, the statement states, "We extend our heartfelt thanks to the audiences and our partners worldwide for their unwavering support. The media and film industries have also been incredibly supportive. Pushpa 2: The Rule will now be released worldwide on December 6th, 2024. We are committed to giving you the best and you will see only the best in cinemas."

So far, the makers have unveiled a teaser and two songs, when it comes to 'Pushpa 2: The Rule'. The sequel will mainly feature on the conflict between Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil.
For the unversed, 'Pushpa: The Rise' had released in cinemas on December 17, 2021. The movie emerged as a massive rage in the country, and everything about the film turned out to be smash-hit.
Directed by Sukumar, the last leg of shooting for ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is currently underway.
Previously, Rashmika Mandanna talked about the much-awaited film when she promised that it would be “bigger” than ever.
“I can promise you that Pushpa 2 is going to be so much bigger. We gave some madness in the first film; in part 2, we know we have a responsibility because people have so much expectation from the film. We are constantly and consciously trying to deliver that,” she had told Pinkvilla.
