Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been grabbing headlines lately for her rumoured relationship with director Raj Nidimoru, and their latest public appearance has only added fuel to the speculation. The two were spotted together in Mumbai on Wednesday evening, but things took a slightly dramatic turn when the ‘Family Man’ director gave paparazzi a cold, unmistakable death stare while getting into the car with Samantha. His visible discomfort at being photographed sparked buzz online, with several videos of the moment now circulating widely across social media platforms.
In the videos, the duo can be seen leaving a restaurant. Samantha seemed cheerful upon coming out of the restaurant and she wasn't unfazed by the presence of paparazzi. She eventually made her way to the car.
Raj, who joined her later in the same car, was visibly irked by the constant media attention. The director was then seen giving an icy glare to the paparazzi through the car window.
For the outing, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was dressed in a white and navy striped full-sleeve sweater with jeans. On the other hand, Raj sported a black cap and olive green over-shirt, paired with a black T-shirt and jeans.

Samantha and Raj are yet to confirm their relationship, however, fans were convinced that the actress’ latest Detroit photo dump said more than words.
With Raj Nidimoru appearing in multiple shots and fans flooding the comments with congratulations, it’s safe to say that Samantha just gave the internet its favourite soft-launch of 2025.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu will next star in ‘Maa Inti Bangaram’, which she is also producing under her banner, Tralala Moving Pictures.
Apart from that, she will also be seen in Raj & DK’s Netflix series ‘Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom’.
She was last seen in a cameo appearance in the 2025 horror comedy film ‘Subham’. Prior to this, Samantha featured in Prime Video series ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’, alongside Varun Dhawan and Kay Kay Menon. The series was not renewed for a second season by Amazon Prime Video.
