Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor on Wednesday officially launched 'RC16' with a pooja ceremony, and fans are going gaga over the new jodi.
Ever since it was announced that Janhvi Kapoor will be starring opposite Ram Charan in the new Telugu movie, tentatively titled 'RC16', fans have been going wild and have been expressing their happiness over these two actors being cast opposite each other in a major motion picture. In the latest entertainment news, Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor on Wednesday officially launched the new Telugu movie with a pooja ceremony. In several viral pictures and videos, both Janhvi Kapoor and Ram Charan can be seen dressed in traditional attire. The pooja ceremony took place in Hyderabad.
The pooja ceremony for the new Telugu movie was also attended by Chiranjeevi, Allu Aravind and music composer AR Rahman. Directors Sukumar and Shankar also attended the ceremony as the chief guest.

For the unversed, this is the second Telugu film that Janhvi Kapoor has signed. She will be making her Telugu debut later this year with Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan's 'Devara'.
AR Rahman will be composing the music for 'RC16'.
Earlier, on the occasion of Janhvi Kapoor's 27th birthday, the makers of Buchi Babu Sana’s ‘RC 16’ announced the casting of the actress opposite Ram Charan.
The pan-India entertainer is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Vriddhi Cinemas and Sukumar Writings.
‘RC 16’ marks the first collaboration between the dynamic duo of Ram Charan and Buchi Babu Sana, renowned for his work on the critically acclaimed 2021 film ‘Uppena’.
While the makers have kept the details of ‘RC 16’ under wraps, according to Pinkvilla, the new Telugu movie will be a rural sports drama with Kabaddi as its central theme.
Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor will also be starring in ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ opposite Rajkummar Rao, Sudhanshu Saria’s ‘Ulajh’, and ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ opposite Varun Dhawan.
Speaking of Ram Charan, the 'RRR' actor will next be seen in Shankar's 'Game Changer' alongside Kiara Advani.
