Ram Charan visits a dargah and a temple in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh.

‘RRR’ star Ram Charan, who will next be seen in Shankar’s ‘Game Changer’ alongside Kiara Advani, recently visited a temple and a dargah in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. The actor was accompanied by director Buchi Babu Sana. The actor and director visited the Sri Vijaya Durga Devi temple and Ameen Peer dargah. The police had to resort to lathi charge to control the massive crowd that gathered just to catch one glimpse of the Telugu superstar.

Ram Charan flew from Hyderabad to Kadapa to attend the 80th Mushaira Ghazal event. The actor completed an old request from music composer AR Rahman to visit the dargah. The actor along with Buchi Babu Sana performed a pooja and put the script of their upcoming film at the goddess’ feet.

Ram Charan also offered a chaddar made of flowers at the dargah. Ram Charan's movie with Buchi Babu Sana will have Janhvi Kapoor as his co-star.

The fans were seen welcoming Ram Charan with massive garlands and flower petals. The actor also waved at them through his car's sunroof. However, the situation soon got out of control and the police had to hit fans to hold back the crowd. The officials ensured that Ram Charan's car is able to make its way safely.

Ram Charan was last seen in 2022 film ‘Acharya’. Before that, he rose to global stardom through SS Rajamouli's 'RRR', which also starred Jr NTR, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt.

Ram Charan also had a cameo in Salman Khan's 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan', in the song 'Yentamma'.

He recently wrapped up shooting for Shankar's maiden Telugu film, 'Game Changer'. The film will be releasing in cinemas on January 10, 2025. The teaser for 'Game Changer' was unveiled recently, and it was met with mixed response.

Shankar's last directorial, 'Indian 2', starring Kamal Haasan, tanked at the box office. Ram Charan's last full-fledged film 'Acharya' also crashed at the box office.
