MS Dhoni's wife Sakshi has said that the former India World Cup-winning captain is open to acting in movies.
MS Dhoni's wife Sakshi has confirmed that the former World Cup-winning captain is open to take up acting. Speaking at a press conference in Chennai, Sakshi Dhoni talked about a range of topics, including her husband's acting. For the unversed, the couple had recently announced their new production house Dhoni Entertainment. 'Let's Get Married', a Tamil film directed by Ramesh Thamilmani, is the first film that Dhoni Entertainment has produced.
The movie stars Nadiya, Yogi Babu, and Mirchi Vijay and it will also be released in Telugu.
Speaking at the press conference, Sakshi Dhoni was quoted by Hindustan Times as saying: "If there’s something good, he may just (do it). He is not camera-shy. He has been acting in advertisements since 2006, and he is not afraid of facing the camera. So, might do it if there’s something good.”
“Action. He is always in action. What would you choose for him? If we plan to make a movie with MS Dhoni as a hero, then it will only be an action-packed entertainer. If a character with a good story and good message comes, then MS Dhoni will consider acting in a movie," she added.
Another clip is going viral on social media, in which Sakshi Dhoni revealed that she is a fan of Allu Arjun. She said that back in the day, when there was no Netflix or Prime Video, she used to watch Allu Arjun's movies on YouTube.
“You know I’ve seen all Allu Arjun movies. All of it. But, I don’t think that there was Netflix or Hotstar. It was all on YouTube, on Goldmine Productions. They used to put all the Telugu movies in Hindi. So growing up, I watched all Allu Arjun movies, and I’m a huge huge fan," said Sakshi.
