Tamannaah Bhatia was recently asked a cheeky question referencing Vijay Varma during a press event, and her witty and graceful response is now winning the internet.
Indian actress Tamannaah Bhatia has been making headlines lately, and not just for her work. The buzz has largely been around two things — her alleged breakup with actor Vijay Varma and her adorable friendship with Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha Thadani. While the actress has opened up about her heart-warming bond with Rasha Thadani, revealing that their age gap doesn’t affect their friendship, she has chosen to remain tight-lipped on rumours of her reported split with Vijay.
Recently, during a promotional event for her upcoming supernatural thriller ‘Odela 2’, Tamannaah Bhatia found herself in the middle of a cheeky moment that indirectly referenced her relationship status.
At the press conference, a reporter asked her, “Aisi koi personality hai jiske upar aap tantra mantra ki vidya se uske upar Vijay haasil karna chahti hai?” — cleverly playing with the word “Vijay,” which means victory in Hindi and also happens to be her ex’s name.
Tamannaah didn’t miss a beat. With a smile, she fired back playfully, “Yeh toh aap pe hi karna padega. Fir saare paparazzi mere mutthi mein honge. What do you say, kar lein? Sir pe hi karlein? Then all the paparazzi will be listening to whatever I say.”

Despite all the speculation regarding their breakup, Tamannaah Bhatia is currently focused on work. Her next film, ‘Odela 2’, directed by Ashok Teja, is set to hit theatres on April 17. It’s the sequel to ‘Odela Railway Station’, which released in 2022.
Tamannaah will also be seen in a special dance number that she’s filmed for Ajay Devgn’s thriller ‘Raid 2’, slated to release in cinemas on May 1, 2025.
