'Vidhuthalai Part 2' First Look: Much-Awaited Sequel To Highlight Past Of Vijay Sethupathi's Character
'Vidhuthalai Part 2' stars Vijay Sethupathi, Bhavani Sre, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Chetan and Rajiv Menon.
'Vidhuthalai' is regarded as one of the finest films to come out of Indian cinema in 2023, and fans have been asking for the sequel for more than a year. In the latest entertainment news, it seems that the makers have finally heard the fans' voices as they decided to unveil the first look from the upcoming 'Vidhuthalai Part 2'. The first look posters feature Vijay Sethupathi as a teacher alongside Manju Warrier.
The second poster showcases an exasperated Vijay Sethupathi in bloodied clothes carrying a machete across a field.
Vijay Sethupathi shared the official posters on social media. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, "A new chapter begins with #ViduthalaiPart2. Directed by the visionary #VetriMaaran!"

Speaking of 'Vidhuthalai', the Tamil film is a period crime, directed and co-produced by Vetrimaaran, who co-wrote the screenplay with B Jeyamohan, under Grass Root Film Company and RS Infotainment.
It is the first film of a two-part adaptation of the short story 'Thunaivan'. The plot is set in 1987, and it follows a constable, who is recruited to arrest the leader of a separatist group.
'Viduthalai' was originally announced as a single film in April 2021. However, it was later announced to be released in two parts.
The release date for 'Vidhuthalai Part 2' has not been announced yet.
On the work front, Vijay Sethupathi was last seen in Tamil film 'Maharaja'. The movie is one of the finest thrillers to come out this year.
