For the unversed, 'Kushi' marks the comeback of Vijay Deverakonda to the big screen after the debacle of 'Liger'. In the latest entertainment news, Vijay Deverakonda on Friday morning penned a heartfelt note, celebrating the release of 'Kushi'.
"You all waited for 5 years, with me. Patiently waiting for me to do my thing! We did it. Today!! Waking up to this happiness from all around and my phone to hundreds of messages. I cannot help but tear up with emotions. I love you all," Vijay Deverakonda wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

'Kushi's success is crucial for both Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu as their last projects 'Liger' and 'Shakuntalam' had tanked at the box office.
For the unversed, Samantha and Vijay had previously collaborated together in Nag Ashwin’s 'Mahanati', but this is the first time that they have been paired together in a full-fledged role.
The songs of the film got a good response before the release of the film.
'Kushi' has been directed by Shiva Nirvana and the plot revolves around the characters Aaradhya and Viplav. Vijay Deverakonda is playing the role of Viplav in the film, while Samantha is playing Aaradhya.
Talking about Samantha Ruth Prabhu, it was confirmed that the actress will be taking one-year break to prioritise her health and seek treatment for her autoimmune disease, Myositis.
The actress will next be seen in Prime Video's 'Citadel India', which also co-stars Varun Dhawan. The show is being directed by 'The Family Man' and 'Farzi' fame Raj & DK.
